Letter from the President and Shareholder, David Callan
David has been the President of Arenas del Mar since the beginning and has a background in fund management back in the US. David has guided Arenas del Mar to profitability every year since being President.
Being part of Arenas del Mar for over 12 years has been one of my life’s greatest works. I’ve worked with amazing people, met exceptional guests, and watched Arenas del Mar become an icon in Costa Rica and especially in Manuel Antonio.
While 2020 was one of the most challenging years at ADM, it was also one of the most exciting as we were able to take a pause, plan and create a strategy to continue to grow Arenas del Mar into Costa Rica’s leading luxury hotel.
I believe that anyone that joins us on this adventure that I’ve been a part of will go beyond seeing a monetary return and will find an oasis of relaxation and enjoyment for themselves and their family. After all, what’s important in life are our memories.

Best Trip Ever!
My boyfriend and I traveled to Costa Rica to celebrate his birthday. From the moment we checked in, we were blown away. The staff was so amazing, extremely helpful and really made us feel special during our stay.
We stayed in a BEAUTIFUL ocean breeze suite which was extremely spacious for 2. It came with 2 full sized bathrooms, a kitchenette, living area and large bedroom. The view from our balcony was unreal and you have easy access to the private beach where you could literally walk out to.

I would come back in a heartbeat!
Awesome resort!!!!!! All staff very nice and helpful! You can go directly to the beach and be in the rainforest at the same time!! Golf carts are a great help to get around the steepness of the property! Lots of monkeys, iguanas, and lizards! We couldn't believe we counted 97 monkeys! We also saw a couple of sloths! The national park is a 20-minute walk or 10-minute drive away! I would come back in a heartbeat!
